  21. I'm sure I'm saying the same thing tht others will say, but while I think
  22. NAPTR will likely be replaced with some other mechanism, I do think the
  23. extra layer of indirections serves several very important purposes: Most
  24. importantly, it makes the underlying mechanism truly distributed and
  25. scalable. It also decentralizes URN administration provides a smooth
  26. transition path to new technologies. No other mechanism that I've seen
  27. proposed can make these claims.
